Pancake breakfast
I made a flyer for a pancake breakfast to raise money for 9/11. I added photos into photoshop and edited them to what I wanted them to look like. I added the time, place, and a picture desicribing what it is about. This flyer means a lot to me for all the people that have given their lifes to 9/11 R.I.P. If I could do anything different I would change the coloring of the background to make the lettering stand out more. I would crop the picture and place it somewhere else. I mad the title big to go across the page to add depth. I added the bow to add some happiness to the 9/11 event that occured. I used the American flag to bring up the memory of the people that have passed.
Marbled Background
For this assignment I created a marbled background. First I added shapes of all different colors to my page, then I blended them in together using a tool called twirl tool. After I adjusted the settings I created the picture that I wanted. Next I cropped the background with a clipping mask to make it a rectangular picture. And I added a few quick effects and created this. I picked the colors yellow, pink, and green because they look bold and fun together. When I twirrled the colors together it didn't look too good, so I had to redo it.
Marbled Name
This activity I made my name using the marbled background I created. I had to use skills to crop the marbled background into my name. And I created a great image that I love. It took me awhile to construct this but with the help of Courtney I created this beautiful name using a marbled background. This project was diffucult for me because I didn't know how to shift and combine the background with the lettering.
Posters for Mrs.Nasiff
I made two posters for Mrs.Nasiff for her child's school fundraisers. She wanted us to complete a poster for a penny social, and a silent auction. I downloaded multiple brushes from brusheezy.com and added them to my poster using photoshop. I edited the pictures and changed the colors, and size. If I would do anything differently I would have positioned the brushes differently and added more.
Thayer Street Review
As I was exploring Thayer Street I marked down all the restuarants and shop's I liked on my map. I went into many stores and saw cool things that I liked. I bought a headband with a bow on the side it is very cute. My friends and I ate at Chipotle and it was fantastic!
Pencil
To draw the pencil shape you have to control the thickness and color of lines that you draw by setting stroke attributes. First you create the rectangle for the body fo the pencil then you do the earser part of the pencil by making another rectangle. Then you do the two metal bands on top of the pencil in between the eraser and the body of the pencil. You have to draw polygons, spirals, and stars. If I were to do anything different I would have done those differently. I would have made the drawing a little different by rotatiung the box slightly right.
Pear project
I created this pear using the pen tool. The pen tool is for drawing straight lines, curves, and complex shapes. I learned how to draw straight lines, use template layers, end path segments and split lines. I also learned how to draw curved lines when created the shape of the pear. I had to select and adjust curve segments that was the hardest part of this assignment. Next I edited my curves and changed from smooth to pointed and vice versa. If I were to change this I would have made the arrow straight, more then what it is.
Fish project
Using the measurements from the class I created this fish. I had to find the radius of a triangle and convert the measurments. I wasn't sure how to create the hook so I tried my best. If I were to change anything I would have focused more on the hook.
